8 ways to keep your house clean during the Fall without using chemicals

It is that time again to break out your fall decoration and fall scented candles and get ready to prepare your home for cooler weather!

Check out these ways on how to keep our household clean without chemicals!

  • ALL PURPOSE CLEANERS

Most things can be cleaned with a bucket full of warm water with either a squirt of a good, safe, non-toxic dish soap or a splash of vinegar. Either of these solutions is great for cleaning cabinets and walls, the inside of your refrigerator, and nearly any hard household surface that just needs a gentle cleaning.

  • WINDOWS

Use spray  bottle with half vinegar diluted with half water.

  • MINI BLINDS

Use with natural dish soap and vinegar.

  • FLOORS

Add vinegar and essential oil to a bucket full of water, the vinegar smell will remove using the essential oil, then mop the tiles.

  • WOOD

Sealed wood can be clean with a soft cloth with a little bit of vinegar and some olive oil.

  • DECLUTTER AND TIDY UP

Regularly purging our home of unwanted and unused items just makes us feel better! Sell what you can on Craigslist or have a garage sale, donate to a shelter or thrift store, and don’t be afraid to send some stuff straight to the dumpster if you need to.

Whatever you choose, getting this done at least twice a year just makes the job that much easier.

  • STAINLESS STEEL
